Box Truck & Dump Truck Financing
Not every trucking business runs semis. Box trucks power last-mile delivery, moving companies, and contract routes; dump trucks keep construction and aggregate jobs moving. Both are financeable, with a few differences.
Box Truck Financing
- Common for delivery contractors, movers, and local freight
- Lower price point than a semi, so approvals can be simpler
- Lenders want to see the revenue source — a route contract or steady customers helps
Dump Truck Financing
- Used by contractors, haulers, and aggregate suppliers
- Higher cost and heavier wear; lenders review age and mileage carefully
- Seasonal payment structures are sometimes available
Typical Terms
- Down payment: commonly 10–25%, depending on credit and truck age
- Terms: up to 84 months
- Amount: up to $1M in total equipment value, as a loan or a lease
- Credit: programs exist for a range of scores; lower scores usually mean more down
Documents to Have Ready
- Driver's license and CDL (where required)
- 3–6 months of business bank statements
- Truck invoice or listing with VIN
- Contracts, route agreements, or customer list

Equipment and truck programs fund up to $1M in total value with terms up to 84 months, as a loan or a lease. Rates, down payments, and final terms vary by lender, equipment, and credit profile, and every deal is subject to underwriting and approval. A down payment is required on most programs.
