Financing CNC Machines & Production Equipment for California Manufacturers

For a manufacturer, a new machine can mean faster runs, tighter tolerances, and the ability to take on bigger contracts. It can also cost as much as a year of profit. Financing lets the machine start producing revenue while you pay for it.
Equipment manufacturers commonly finance
- CNC mills, lathes, routers, and laser or waterjet cutters
- Injection molding, packaging, and production line equipment
- Forklifts, racking, and warehouse equipment
- Used machinery from dealers or auctions, subject to lender review
Loan or lease?
Equipment financing is available as a loan (you own the machine) or a lease (often lower payments, with upgrade options). Programs we place go up to $1M total, with terms up to 84 months. A down payment is typically required, and the amount depends on the equipment and your file.
Covering materials and payroll on large orders
Big orders mean buying materials and paying staff long before the customer pays. A business line of credit can cover that gap. If you invoice other businesses on 30 to 90 day terms, invoice factoring can turn completed, delivered invoices into cash sooner.
Expansions and buildings
For a larger facility, buying your building, or major fixed-asset projects, compare SBA 7(a) and 504 loans, which offer longer terms.
What to have ready
- An equipment quote with make, model, year, and serial number if used
- Recent business bank statements
- Business tax returns for larger requests
- Major customer contracts or purchase orders, if the machine supports new work
